Thinking About Getting Sober?
2020 was a tough year, and getting or staying sober in 2021 can be especially difficult. On Christmas morning 2018, I decided to get sober, but the hardest part of that change was determining where to begin. I was wary of walking into a group setting or meeting to get help. My recovery is possible because of people who guided me and shared their own experiences.
Since coming out about my recovery, I've received thousands of messages, and I simply cannot respond to everyone. That's why I've brought together 100 people in recovery with at least one year of sobriety. They've all agreed to reach out for a conversation with you. You don't need to use your real name -- you'll only be contacted directly by someone who is willing to help you begin your journey to sobriety.
Your information will only be shared with one person, who will contact you privately and directly. We will not store your information or use it for any other purpose.
We have had numerous requests to host virtual recovery meetings, to continue offering support to anyone on their recovery journey (AA suggested format). If you are interested in attending a virtual meeting, please check our calendar below. Everyone is welcome, and you may keep your camera off and / or use an assumed name if you wish to remain anonymous.
